  Cakes Cake is one of the most popular sweets.The name of the cake varies from country to country, such as cakes, cookies, sponge cake, pound cake and regular cakes.Cake is a famous food all over the world and  it is my favorite desert.I most of like chocolate cake. There are many types of cake, where we can add cream, chocolate or cocoa, or fruits such as bananas, or add orange juice or something else.There are many types of cakes, such as Butter cake,sponge cake,Chocolate cake,Cupcakes,Jar cake,Velvet cake,Black forest cake,Coffee cake. It is served on most special occasions such as weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, and holidays.I like to eat cakes a lot. My aunt also has a cake business. She makes very delicious,beautiful and attractive cakes.She also has a Facebook page for her cake business called 'Cakes by Ama'. She gets a lot of cake orders and she makes cakes very tasty and neat. She also makes cakes for us in her free time.

Me  I'm Pramodya Amarasekara.I was born on 1st of August in 2001,that means I am 21 years old.I completed my schooling last year from Polonnaruwa Thopaweva National School and Currently,I am doing my higher education as first year student of the faculty of music at the University of visual and performing arts. I am the eldest child in the family and have two sisters and a brother.My mother is a housewife and my father is a farmer.I love to singing,dancing,watching movies my spare times and sometimes I help my grandfather in gardening. I am a very friendly person.I like to make friends wherever I go and i love to help others and try my best to solve problems.I am trusting others too quickly is a  one of my weakness. My family members helped me to make me a special person and help me in my education. They are all encourage me.

  Beautiful Butterflies   Butterfly is the most beautiful and colorful insect and they are innocent.  Caterpillars become butterflies. They have four brightly colored wings so they can fly. They have six joined legs.They love flowers and feed on the sweet juice of flowers. There are many types Butterflies can be found.They have unique colored wings. Butterflies are like flowers because they are colorful. Everyone loves to watch butterflies and some collect butterflies as a hobby.

  Christmas  Christmas is most famous festival celebrated on 25th December every year worldwide.Christmas is very colorful and beautiful festival.On this day people celebrate the birthday of Jeaus Christ.It is annual christian festival. People light up candles and llights and decorate the christmas trees.Red,Green,Gold,Silver,White are main colors associated with christmas celebration.Santa is most important amd special character in this festival and he gives many gifts to people.People song carols,exchange gifts and go to the church on the christmas day.

  Dehiwala Zoo  When we were studying in university, we went to the zoo.The zoo is located in front of our hostel so my friends and i decided to visit to the zoo.After about 5 minutes we went to the zoo.First we bought tickets at the entrance.Then we entered the zoo.  We saw many animals,birds,snakes and fish there. There were  Monkeys,Elephants,Bears.They were kept in storage cages.We saw various kinds Birds.They were very beautiful.We walk the lanes and ate ice creams.We took lots of photos. At about 5.00 p.m we came back.Then we got some food for our dinner. After that we came back to our hostel.

  Trees Trees are important for us to live in and very useful.Both man and the animals cannot live without them because trees are take in Carbon Dioxide and give us to Oxygen. Trees provide us to fruits,vegetables,medicine timbers and shelter.Trees save us from scorching rays of the sun.We get the most needed rain because of the trees and trees clear the air of unwanted gases and odours. Trees make the environment beautiful.The earth has become a cool and beautiful place because of the trees. Trees helps us to relax and reduce blood pressure siginificantly.But sadly,people cut down trees for their needs ina careless manner.Trees are the earth's supportive networks so if we destroy and cut trees,the earth would become a desert.
